Detective Hal Halverson, seventy seven years old, out of shape and living a less than healthy life-style, is curious about what really happens when we leave this world behind. Given the opportunity to vacation in a house reputed to still be occupied by the original owners, both of whom have been deceased for more than twenty years, he jumps at the chance to perhaps commune with the other side of that mortal curtain. In PERMANENT RESIDENTS, Hal and his trophy wife Shirley, meet their creator (author, Jon Daniels) as well as several spirit friends. Some of the unusual phenomenon portrayed in this book have actually been experienced by the author, his family and previous renters of the house. During the writing, the author did have three occasions when pages disappeared after having been typed and font was changed, including color, in the middle of a page. Was it ghosts or WINDOWS 10?
