He only has to resist one Curvaceous woman. Too bad she’s the only one he finds Captivating.
Single mom, Olivia Humphrey is always overwhelmed. The laundry reaches the ceiling some days, dishes fill the sink, and the trash always makes her gag. But she doesn’t have time to worry about any of that. She has a job to do, two of them, and as the mayor’s assistant and a mother, she has to suck it up and get the job done.
Even if it means dealing with Winterville’s newest irritating man.
Ethan Norwood has bad news written all over him. From the dangerous glint in his eyes to the tattoos that cover his body to the power he holds as the biggest sponsor for Winterville’s Easter Egg Hunt. Olivia knows she absolutely has to stay away from him, not only because he warned her to but because she doesn’t need a man like him in her life. Too bad she doesn’t seem to be able to say no to him.
When Ethan and Olivia are forced to work together, it’s a battle of strength to find out who can resist longer. Or if either of them will.
USA TODAY Bestselling Author Mary E Thompson spent most of her childhood wishing she had a few less curves. She hid in the pages of books because her favorite characters never cared what size her clothes were. Now, neither does Mary, and she writes stories that celebrate women like her. Real women who have curves, chase dreams, and find love, because we should all be happy, no matter our dress size. Mary spends her non-writing time with her husband and two kids, watching too much TV, cheering for her hometown football team (Go Bills!), and hiding chocolate from her family.
Great fun. I just flew through it. I guess I am getting to like what my mother in law would call a lusty busty. Definitely planning to read more in the series as well. Halfway through the first book.
I'm not a mom but I felt all the heartache and happiness Olivia faced trying to raise her two kids. The conversation with her son really got to me. I also want to know where's my Ethan! My goodness, I want an Ethan!
Just when you think you couldn't pick a favorite guy from the Big & Beautiful series, along comes Ethan. He's so different from the other men that he stands out. He's so Alpha that you want to slap him and kiss him just for getting you all hot and bothered. I love that he's a take charge kind-of guy that he makes most of the first moved with Olivia. This story is now my favorite because this relationship is very different from the others because there are young children involved. Ethan is exactly the man Olivia, Kevin & Becca need in their lives. I don't know how Mary is going to top this story but I can't wait to read more of her stories.
This is such a good series. How Mary Thompson continues to write each book so well is amazing!!! Olivia is such a dedicated single mom. She works hard and the author wrote it realistically too. Olivia is stressed out at time just like the rest of us. Ethan is a wonderful man. He meets her and immediately likes her. He is sweet and honest. He goes to her house and ends up meeting her kids. Instead of leaving he stays. This is a wonderful story. I highly recommend this book!!
A single mom with two kids finds love with a handsome, older man who has always thought he didn’t want kids.
Divorcee Olivia is attracted but not impressed when she meets the new owner of a local toy company that is going to sponsor the town’s Easter Egg Hunt. Ethan is captivated but does not realize that Olivia has children until he shows up, unexpectedly, at her house that evening. On the surface, they seem like an unlikely match, but love and logic do not always walk hand in hand.
I thought their physical relationship developed too quickly to be believable, particularly given her past. Their evolving relationship is not without its ups and down, and a woman who hopes for a relationship with Ethan tries to destroy Olivia’s trust in him. The woman comes close to succeeding, but her attempt fails. It was a “big misunderstanding” subplot that, while hinted at early on (at which time it was forgotten by Olivia when Ethan denied it), occurred too late in the story to be properly developed or believeable.

This series was so good I could not put it down and I rushed to get the entire series...all 13 books of them. You will absolutely love every single character in the book, you will laugh out loud through and just shake your head at the antics of these fearless women. No spoilers, sorry. Go on, hurry don’t hesitate, these are just to damn good to pass up. My review will be the same for all 12 books cuz they are all amazing!
Olivia is working hard to get the Easter egg hunt event working, Ethan owns a toy company and agrees to sponsor the event. Sparks fly from first glance, but Olivia has to learn to trust, as a single mom nothing and no-one will hurt her kids.
I read all 10 so far and everyone I have fallen in love with Olivia and Ethan were good for each other . Ethan was a good man . Thank you I love your books
