This book seems to be very rare and there is not much information on it (or on its writer) on internet.
"Na Orenjevoy Planete" was written in those times when information about other planets (specially about Venus and its thick atmosphere) was very much scarce, so Leonid Onochko relies on his own imagination to build a story that jumps back and forth from the hard adventure style "à la Conan Doyle" (without being racist) and a naïve description of an unknown world.
