Although accessible for the average lay person as far as books on theology go, I still sometimes had to reread sections for understanding. While I don't feel it laid out any specific beliefs for me, there were portions that definitely gave me some things to consider regarding what I do or do not believe. At times certain ideas were dismissed, but in many cases I felt this book did a good job of trying to include a variety of viable perspectives and arguments.
