If you ever wanted to learn to pray more effectively, this is a book to read! Pastor Whitfield is very clear in his explanations of what you need to do to get the basics of prayer down. He teaches you what a prayer point is and how to be heard by God. I have been a Christian for 18 years (all adult years), and this is the best book on prayer that I have read. It's also short, so you don't hear a lot of filler. He does just was the title says - he gets to the point.
Pastor Whitfield also has a prayer line that you can participate in. This is a great model of what he teaches, and it's free. It meets at 6AM Central Standard Time, and sometimes it meets at 10 PM too. If you are interested in checking it out, you can use any electronic device. If you use the computer, you can type in your prayer requests under the Q & A box. If you use your phone, you just listen and join in with the prayer (and teaching).

Prayer made simple
I have been drawn to a deeper prayer life. Stumbling upon this author video and now this book was simply the leading of the Holy Spirit. As a result my prayer life has augmented , it's been reset and enhanced greatly. This book contains power trues and instructions that has blessed me beyond my ability to convey. So many things have opened up to me, as an result of praying prayer points and prayer at stratgetic times. I will be forever greatful!

Best read for prayer life
The author does a fantastic job of being true to the simplicity of gospel as Jesus presents it but with prayer! Anyone setting out to establish a prayer life that is doable and effective you have found what you are looking for here. It is the foundation you set and build upon the rest of the prayer adventure. To the point
I love a book that cuts out the fluff and gets straight to the point . I wish I had this book years ago. This book is greatly needed in the body of Christ.
