William Bradshaw is back, whether he wants to be or not. Despite Will's best efforts he's still King of the Goblins, and despite everyone else's best efforts he still has a kingdom to rule. Surviving his enemies and his own followers soon becomes the least of his worries when a dwarf brings him an injured goblin. The poor goblins has learned that a terrible threat is free after eight centuries imprisonment, an army of immortal madmen who despise every race on Other Place. Goblins, trolls, dwarfs, elves and even other men are in terrible danger as they destroy everything in their path. Stopping this nightmarish danger is more than Will is capable of even with the help of his goblins, troll bodyguards, magic mirror and fire scepter. But Will's never let the odds stop him before, and he's going to fight these monsters head on. he's going to need help from new friends and old enemies to face a threat that not even eight hundred years can defeat. There's just one how do you beat men who can't die?
Poor Will he's still stuck in Other Place dealing with the daily shenagains of the goblins. When what do you know a goblin of Wills well there technically all his but one of the goblins gets attacked by some members of an immortal army. If you can't see the problem in that well an immortal army taking out everything and everyone in their path not good for anyone oh and yeah they're not suppose to be able to move very far because of this giant stone that gives them their immortality.
I loved this book!! With all the goblins craziness and all the new friends that come along the way and quite the interesting bad guys. It was action packed and hilarious, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I know you will too! So can Will beat all the odds again??? Pick up your copy today to find out.
William Bradshaw has become one of my top five favorite characters in any genre. Arthur Daigle is a very talented and creative author and I love his work. This series doesn’t have to be read in the order written as they are stand-alone novels but there are references to previous exploits that you won’t have a clear picture of if not read in order. No cliffhangers so far which is another reason to love these stories. I love the characters (of the good guys) and the world-building allows me to envision all of the locations. I highly recommend all of Daigle’s works.
Caution: this series is highly addictive and will cost you sleep as you read "one more chapter," desperate to find out what Will and the goblins do next. I have thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. Mr. Niff is officially my favorite goblin. I'm also glad to see the goblins being appreciated, even if only by a few people. Can't wait for the next book.
I love these books! They are funny, light reading that is filled with characters you grow to love. The author manages to make them suitalbe for pretty much any age, and still keeps adult readers laughing. My only wish is there was a compendium of them...
I love how truly rational Will remains in a world of chaos! And I love how, even though they are self depreciating, the goblins always have Wills back! This series just gets more enjoyable. I’m loving it!
A wonderful mix of humor, action, and colorful characters highlight the 3rd installment of the William Bradshaw series. Arthur's writing is witty and sharp, engaging you throughout the story.
Will is still trying to get out of his King Contract when a frightening and dangerous foe resurfaces on Other Place. It is an enemy that goblins refuse to even name, let alone talk about. Will encounters new places and befriends new allies as he struggles to contain the threat. He is left with a daunting proposition - how do you stop a foe who cannot die?
