I live in a small town in the Midwest and I was raised in a rather unconventional way. Growing up with a slightly different outlook on life, and then slowly learning how to adapt into "normal" society propelled me to analyze and evaluate social norms, almost from an outside perspective.
I have always enjoyed people and find us fascinating! I love learning about relationships and the things that make us human, things that we all share. I love to explore what makes us different, and how our experiences and cultures shape our lives.
I enjoy social settings and places where I can observe, meet, and get to know people better. I love their stories, I even love making up stories about strangers that I will never get to know!
Whenever I meet a new person, learn about an experience that I didn't know much about, or travel to a place I haven't been to before, I just want to write about it! Seeing life through another person's eyes inspires me and makes me want to write about it in such a way that someone else can put themselves in their shoes as well. I think it's a healthy and insightful experience to think about things through another perspective.
Along with writing, I enjoy a wide--too wide--a variety of activities. I just can't seem to do the same thing for too long! Writing (and reading) therefore, is a very small part of my life, so as much as I'd like to promise you sequels or more books, I just don't know yet!
