Lynn Michaels lives and writes in Tampa, Florida where the sun is hot and the Sangria is cold. When she’s not writing she’s kayaking, hanging with her husband, or reading by the pool. Lynn writes Male/Male romance because she believes everyone deserves a happy ending and the dynamics of male characters can be intriguing, vulnerable, and exciting. She has both contemporary and paranormal titles and has been writing since 2014. Her stories don’t follow any set guidelines or ideas, but come from her heart and contain love in many forms.
This second book is better than the first. I'm a fan of bike racing and LYNN MICHAELS has written an EXTRAORDINARY life around it. This story has some great, non cheating M/M/M action going on. Pilot is a bodyguard, Tate and Bryce are Supercross bike racers. This is definitely a page turner I couldn't put down. This is a beautiful story of love, commitment and dedication by all three men. Oh, did I mention beyond HOT...... well it's beyond HOT!!! If you love a great book, this is it. It CAN also be read as a standalone. But BOOK 1 HOLESHOT is a great book too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!
What I Loved: I enjoyed Tate and Pilot and I loved their interactions with one another as well as their banter. Tate and Pilot hooked me from the very beginning of the book. Funnily enough, Tate had me wanting to shake him sometimes and hug him at others. But the two of them together was fun, sweet, sexy and a whole list of adjectives.
The writing is very well done and Lynn Michaels is a great writer. The story flowed well and I was able to picture it vividly in my mind as I read the story. While I didn't always care for the content, it didn't take away from the writing itself.
I also found myself falling in love with Johnny and am looking forward to what is in store for him.
What I Liked: I liked Bryce. I wasn't in love with him like with Pilot and Tate but he grew on me as the story progressed.
What I Didn't Like: I have to be honest and say that I had a big problem with Bryce's age. When we first meet him he isn't quite 18 years old. Reading that had my stomach dropping and I started to pull away from the story. He's too young to me and it made me uncomfortable when I thought about his age. I would have preferred to have us readers meeting him when he was 20.
Tate himself was only 21 which didn't bother me as much but the fact that I never got a clear idea of how old Pilot is made it a bit awkward for me. I don't mind age gap but I don't particularly like it when one of the characters is just barely of age. Maybe I'm getting older or maybe I've been working with children too long, whatever the reason, I wasn't completely comfortable thinking of a kid in this relationship.

Readers encounter Tate, the driver who trained with Davey in the first book and he goes 'home' to find his partner less than thrilled by his return. After a physical altercation, he is left homeless and making his way to training camp with the hope that he can improve his ability and clear his mind. He encounters 17-year-old Bryce and they strike up a friendship that almost results in an intimate interchange until Bryce chickens out and avoids Tate indefinitely. Tate goes back on the Supercross circuit and gets reacquainted with Davey and Tyler and discovers Pilot, the bodyguard hired by Apex to keep the team members safe. They start a relationship but Tate still has strong feelings for Bryce that were developed during their time at camp. Johnny is stunned by the speed at which things progress between his friend Pilot and Tate especially when he moves in. He is doubly concerned when Pilot and Tate are able to add Bryce to the relationship. Not only is Pilot taken with Bryce he is concerned about the threats made against him by a guy from the camp. In the end, the man threatening Bryce is one of several attackers hired by a homophobic driver from another team--the very person who contributed to Davey and Tyler's outing. This story does much to further the series by contributing information about the Supercross dirtbike competitive circuit. The character and circumstances of the narrative are believable, though many may squirm at the thought of a twenty-one-year-old man who was will to initiate sexual relations with a guy who was still a minor. Though Bryce's actual carnal experience doesn't begin until after he's eighteen and in a committed relationship with two men who love and care for him, the interaction can be creepy for those squeamish about huge age differences between consenting partners especially when one of the members is so young and inexperience. All in all, the book represents a realistic scenario where an older man is enjoying the attention of two younger partners.
Too much going on, and no focus on the men in the relationship. Pilot is the bodyguard from the broken family who needs a connection for sex to mean something. Tate is the racer, also from a broken family, wants a relationship but doesn't think it's possible for racer with someone outside the business. These have met in the first novel, but nothing happened. They see each other in this book and instant chemistry. WTF? The third guy is a seventeen year old out on his own for first time. He's barely mentioned. I stopped reading on page 117, and they hadn't been introduced as a group yet. Also, talk about the silly misconceptions these people have. Pilot thinks Tate has never had a real job and is a nomad. He invites the guy over for Christmas, yet doesn't seem to understand that the guy's an athlete who needs to watch what he eats and exercise. Tate thinks just because he feels a connection with Bryce it is alright to go for it the first time they kiss. The poor guy runs away, clearly not ready for sex, yet he thinks he is emotionally unavailable as a result. The minor characters are just as bad. A sports reporter asks if Tate will be able to compete against his friends. I'm not into sports in any way, and I know that that's a stupid question! The team Tate is competing for doesn't expect him to win. I could go and on, but the point is this is just stupid. The writing may be decent, but the story is lacking. It's neither romantic nor sexy nor a story about a thouple. It's just a complicated stupid mess. Not worth your time.

I loved the story. It had so many layers and different perspectives to give you a more fleshed out story and rounded experience. I loved how it started off with Tate and Bryce but quickly fizzling to cool due to fears and then introducing one of the ‘villains’. Then fate met pilot and grew as a person who realized he deserved happiness and love and acceptance. I liked pilot and how he seems like this big scary guy but he was a marshmallow for those who he loved. Then you get Bruce back in the mix who sends Tate and pilot scrambling for how they also feel for him. This the MMM dynamic has been introduced. I like how pilot and Tate really communicated about their feelings and issues and how they wanted to see things go forward. I liked how that dynamic played out because it reduced the chances of jealousy and misunderstandings. They were all so cute together. Can’t wait for more.
I loved the first book and I was looking forward to this one, but unlike the dedication between the two MC's in the first book where although they had problems, they worked them out together. This one seemed a little thrown together with Tate just getting out of a relationship, meeting Pilot and I was a little sketchy about his age but he seemed much older than Tate, but then you throw in Bryce, there isn't really a chance to explore their feelings for one another. I'm a fan of what others call instalove, but in this situation, it was pretty farfetched. Bryce kept going from mature to immature and although the characters were supposed to feel a great deal for one another, the story wasn't fleshed out enough for me to truly like it.
There was good backstory in the beginning. Then when the first couple get together, it's "I'm in instalove" and we're moving in together. Bryce is supposedly so mature for his age yet he keeps acting younger than his age. Choose which one is correct and write that. Don't contradict yourself. PLEASE. Then the trio is in instalove, too. It has moments that it's good. Better than the first book. Just not enough to get over the hurdle of the author having again put in too many typical romance phrases and scenes.
Lynn Michael's Holeshot 2 took me a little longer to get into, but I'm glad I kept going.
This one has Tate, Pilot and Bryce. Personally, I'm a huge fan of menage romances, so this one is definitely enjoyable for me. I enjoy the way the triad forms, as it's sweet and natural.
It wasn't as riveting to me as the first book, but that's probably a me thing, as opposed to the writing. It has a good triad, good angst, and some hot sex.
This was everything I wanted it to be and well worth the wait..Super cute Bryce, beautiful Tate and sexy Pilot come together after years of loneliness but not without so trouble along the way stalkers, injury and heart ache make this a page turner till the end..
this was really interesting. i dont know much on this topic so it interests me to read about.. i enjoy these characters and the bantar and love and friendship. it is fun and i enjoyed reading it.
Holeshot 2 by Lynn Michaels is a steamy, exhilarating story about not one, not two, but three men with a need for an adrenaline rush. This intense ménage à trois novel follows our beloved Tate Jordan as he finds love with Pilot - one of the body guards for Davey from the previous novel in this series Holeshot and with a newbie racer named Bryce Nickel. There's a lot of twists and build up between the three with chemistry jumping off the page.
I somewhat struggled with this book. It was actually pretty good until the MCs became a thruple. It just didn't mesh well for me. It seemed rushed. But, that's just my opinion. I'm very picky when stories have multiple MCs in a relationship.
I'm always nervous when reading a second book in a series when I enjoyed the first book so much. This book did not disappoint, it is just was great as the first one! I enjoyed the slow coming together of Pilot, Tate, and Bryce. Can't wait for Johnny's story!
Nice sports, love story. I liked it just fine and everyone involved as well. Just, not sure. It'd be a one time read for me. I can tell. The why is more difficult to answer. I think it's passion. I didn't feel it. And MMM are my personal favorites! But I didn't feel any of the MC felt it so I didn't either. Not for the sport nor for each other. The words were all there. All the right ones too. But they felt like that, words. Fell a little empty.
I think i'd like to go see a Supercross race now though, sounds like fun ^^
