A lot of mistakes are in this book, bit too high over on rather important subjects and too detailed on some less important subjects. Also written with a Cisco "propaganda like" mindset. One of the things that bothered me was: "Cisco developed this...., You will need a Cisco random product for this or the world will be unable to function." Keep it more technical and less sales minded.

There are quite a few typos, so are pretty egregious. Use of language could be better. Acronyms are sometimes introduced and not immediately translated, or they appear in a small note somewhere, but it is not repeated in the main section on the topic. As for many Cisco Press eBooks, the link to the answers to in chapter questions, may or may not work right. A lot of the links to technical articles have been moved, so you'll have to search for them. We'll see how well prepared I am for the test. I also don't like that, the basic and premium editions are sometimes the same price, but if you bought the non-premium from Amazon, you have to pay for the entire book again to get the premium edition with practice test. I liked the material overall. If you have your CCNP, Routing and Switching, there is a lot of repetitive questions. We'll see how many RFC numbers I'll be asked on the real test!

Overall Good design book but not enough design on it, it focuses more on technology than design
