আনন্দমেলা পূজাবার্ষিকী গল্পসংকলন

আনন্দমেলা মানেই বাঙালির ছোটবেলা। কল্পনার জাল বুনতে শেখা, মনের জানালা খুলে দিয়ে অবাক হয়ে বাইরে তাকানো। ১৩৭৮ বঙ্গাব্দে (ইংরেজি ১৯৭১)প্রথমবার পুজোর সময় প্রকাশিত হয় পূজাবার্ষিকী আনন্দমেলা। ছোটদের মনের মতো রঙিন পূজাবার্ষিকীর সেই যাত্রা শুরু। তারপর থেকে কেটে গিয়েছে প্রায় ৩৫ বছর। দুর্গাপুজোর মণ্ডপ, নতুন জামার গন্ধ, হিমেল ভোর আর সাদা মেঘের সঙ্গে আলাপ করিয়ে দিতেই যেন আনন্দমেলা পূজাবার্ষিকী আসে। এখনকার দিনে আর শিশিরভেজা শিউলি, কাশফুল বা সোনালি রোদ দেখতে পায় ক’জন? আজকাল পুজো মানে সরু গলিতে প্যান্ডেলের জন্য বাঁশ আর দড়িদড়া পড়া, দোকানে-দোকানে ‘সেল’ বা নতুন স্টক আসার খবর, টিভি বা কাগজে হঠাৎ শিরোনামে উঠে আসে কুমোরটুলির ঠাকুরগড়া আর জানা যায় কোন পুজোয় এবার কী চমক। পুজোর ছুটি অবশ্য আগের মতোই আছে, আর আছে পুজোর আনন্দমেলা।

ছোটবেলায় পুজো মানেই স্কুল ছুটি, নতুন জামাকাপড় আর আনন্দমেলার পাতাতে মিতিন মাসি, কাকাবাবু আর ফেলুদার সঙ্গে বেরিয়ে যাওয়া | এত বছর পর এই বইটা হাতে পেয়ে ভেবেছিলাম হয়তো ওই ছোটবেলার বন্ধুদের আবার খুঁজে পাবো | তাদের তো পেলাম না, কিন্তু ঘনাদা আর তারিণীখুড়োর গল্পগুলো পড়ে মনটা বেশ ফুরফুরে হয়ে গেলো | ❤ আর কিছু প্রিয় বাঙালি লেখক-লেখিকা যেমনি সত্যজিৎ রায় আর আশাপূর্ণা দেবীর লেখাগুলো পড়তে ও ভীষণ ভালো লাগলো, মনে হল যেন ছোট্টবেলাটা ফিরে পেলাম |😋

Translation:
As a child, Durga Puja meant school holidays, new clothes and going out with Mitin Aunty, Kakababu and Feluda on the pages of Anand Mela. After getting this book on my hands, I thought maybe I will find those childhood friends again. I didn't find them, but reading the stories of Ghanada and Tarinikhuro, took me back to my happy place. ❤ And some of the favorite Bengali writers like Satyajit Ray and Ashapurna Devi's writings were very good to read and it felt like I got back some part of my childhood. 😋

(P.S. It's not an exact translation, I kinda rewrote some parts to capture the essence in both languages 😅)
