I’m a creator of romance who lost my way. I’m a dream weaver trapped in a world of useless information, bottom lines and bean counters. In short, I’m a writer. I pen novels of love, adventure and humor with African American lesbians as main characters.

I love writing and reading books. I’m a trivia buff and a movie freak. Just ask me and I’ll go see a movie, any movie at the drop of a hat. I’m crazy about my car. It’s a 15-year old VW convertible. Guess I like classic dependable things. I should mention I’m a curious sort too. I want to see, feel and experience as much as I can before I die and I plan on living a long time. My people live into their late nineties to over hundred and five.

Very good book!

This was a very good book with very complex characters. Ramona and Cassandra where very conflicted because of their past 27 years before they met and the in laws for Jessie/Ramona's daughter and Daniel/Cassandra's son who met and fell in love and want to get married. The kids don't know that their mothers used to be lovers till Ramona decided she wanted to be with a man and live a "normal" life.

The interaction with all,the supporting characters was really fun with humor but also with bittersweet dynamics. Let's also not forget that A.....hole Mr. Howard and how Jessie interacted with her mother being so self absorbed even during her mother's battle with cancer. Ramona developed a good relationship with the team that worked with her during the surgery and convalescence.

The betrayal of Ramona's best friend who had an affair with Ramona's husband was very hurtful to her.

Cassandra had an affair with two women at the same time but did not let them know about her history with Ramona. That was the straw that broke the camel's back with Eva and Tanya who, wound up being very fond of Ramona.

Let's not forget Berti and Franklin. Also, Zach and Ollie. Later on the grand babies were adorable .

Overall, a very well written book who had me riveted from start to finish.

Great Story

Loved this book. The story line was interesting and the magic between the main characters could truly be felt. I’d recommend this read and would love to read more about the characters.
