Charles Nuetzel is the author of nearly 100 books, most of which, he writes "are probably better forgotten."

Hard boiled adventure from a self-titled pulp fiction "hack." There's a hidden temple of gold in the Amazon, some tough guys, an old professor & his lovely daughter, and a saucy femme fatale, plus nods to Atlantis, the Mu Empire, the Shaver mystery, and even Dianetics. It zips by pretty quickly—perhaps too quickly once they get to the temple. I wish Nuetzel spent as much time describing the ancient artifacts as he did heaving bosoms and lustful thoughts, but then, I'm sure the original audience for this book didn't feel that way.
