One of the most complex topics around OpenStack is networking. I believe that for the people dealing with this subject can be very frustrating to understand all the bits and pieces.

On the other hand, SDN technology is a subject for itself, but it is mandatory in cloud environments. Integrating SDN with OpenStack requires lots of understanding, planning and work.

This book tries to explain some SDN technologies and how you can use them with OpenStack. It is explaining the theory and showing practically only some test/lab principles, so I think the main purpose is to help the reader understand and explore the topic further.

At least it sheds some light in this dark area :-)

I enjoyed it, it is easy to read, and comprehensible for the most part. Recommended reading for OpenStack-ers
