About the author

Ron Emmons is a British writer/photographer who has been based in Chiang Mai, Thailand for over 30 years. He has worked with publishers such as National Geographic, Frommer's, Rough Guides and Dorling Kindersley and his illustrated features have appeared in a wide range of publications such as Hemispheres (United inflight magazine) and the South China Morning Post.
