Isteaque Ahmed is a very well known satire writer in Bangladesh. His ability of writing sarcastic short story is mind blowing but as a novelist he was unknown to me. Apelsastra is all about the life and crisis of new middle class bengali people. It is an excellent example of a simple combination of romance, crisis, heartache and popular philosophy. Undoubtedly he is a unique writer but sometime it could be seemed that his writing is influenced by another popular bengali writer Humayun Ahmed. Although this must be a plus for Humayun readers to adopt it normally. I could not tell anymore but i enjoyed it and i recommend it for those who love simply told story in a form of novel.
