Not what I was looking.

I wanted a book with illustrations and steps in how to make different stitches. The author is very vague in describing stitches and if you are a beginner I doubt if the book would help. If you have been embroidering for a while you would already know what she discusses.

Hand Embroidery Basics

Not really a complete guide and seriously lacks clear and simple pictures to understand the stitches being described - probably due to this being the Kindle edition. Multiple typos and poor grammar adds up to a less than complete guide. Three stars at best.
