Betaal Pachcheesi is a unique collection of 25 stories which highlight the various aspects of the famous king Raja Vikramaditya's love for justice which made him famous all over the world. In this collection, Betaal narrates 25 stories to Vikramaditya. In the end of each story he poses a ticklish question for which the king has to answer. The moment Vikramaditya coming up with the answer, according to the condition set before, Betaal again flies back to hang himself on his favourite tree.
This story collection reveals not only the dialogue between Vikram and Betaal but also helps the reader to have a clear vision about the justice in the modern society.

A very short collection of stories..this was written in the 11th century, and perhaps was meant as a book for the royalty.

In anycases, the stories have not aged well. Some of them sound quite stupid.

बेताल पच्चीसी की सारी कि सारी कहानियां बहुत ही अच्छी है और अगर आप उन्हें ध्यान से पढेंगे तो उनका भावार्थ भी आप जान पाएंगे जो कि आपको लेखक की लेखनकला का परिचय देगा
