Microsoft Windows Nt Training: Hands-On Self-Paced Training Kit for Version 3.51

Rate this book
A boxed set consisting of two volumes Support Fundamentals for Microsoft Windows NT (713 pp.) and Supporting Microsoft Windows NT Server (513 pp.); four floppy diskettes with on-screen exercises; and a video which graphically explains the network "domain environment." The volumes are Study Guide for the Microsoft Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server version 3.5 Certified Professional Exams, which pretty well describes the intended audience; but anyone intent on installing and understanding this new computer operating system will benefit. Self-paced lessons are presented in the usual attractive, Microsoft Press style. After completing them, the student will still want to seek more detailed knowledge of Windows NT to become truly expert; but this kit accelerates the process by years when compared with what is available for other computer operating systems. It illustrates why Microsoft is such a software powerhouse; producers of alternative operating systems just do not seem to understand the need for comparable documentation and training materials.
