In this field I've found that the books tend to be 50-60% padding, and this one is no exception, though of course there is some useful information. The assumption is that you're making a corporate move, which someone else will pay for. Some of the tips are insanely obvious -- "Replace light bulbs as they burn out." Really?

If you haven't moved a lot or have to deal with selling and buying a new house in a short period of time, this is a great book. Not much new for me, though I appreciate the lists at the end of things to do. They could come in handy.
