Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the Goodreads database with this name. Please see:Matt Brown
Matt Brown is the author of several popular books on shipping container homes. Besides being an author, Matt designs and reviews the construction of buildings.
Known for his books on Shipping Container Homes, Matt has received much praise for his modern view of architecture and sustainable living. With his environmental and technical knowledge, Matt is able to produce books that provide the readers with the information they want and need.
Matt is a big advocate of the use of containers as a building material. He says that they are great homes due to their inherent strength and low cost. However, Matt has experience with traditional building material as well. Perhaps this blend of two worlds is the reason why his readers love his creative writing and his new view on things in regards to construction.
When Matt is not writing or working with construction, he enjoys traveling, sports, and long walks on the mountain with his dog Bailey.
Kindle Unlimited - book 1 was only a little bit better because hadn't already read pretty much the same exact thing in 2
Read both 1 and 2, and it's pretty much the same information in both. As far as illustations/pictures, there were only a couple of so, and none of the {multiple mentioned} shopping, 'apartment complex' or others. Such assumptions as 'homeschooling mother' would only need a laptop and tablet...really, what are the kids going to be on, and if there's more than one kid? Saying renting is cheaper for land space does not take in to account that buying a piece of land at least gets paid off instead of your $ going to someone and something else. It wasn't anything I hadn't heard before, and added nothing to what I already knew, plus several areas were glossed over or unclear.
