I didn’t expect the plot of this manga to develop into something this complex and genuinely fun to read.

Even though I was a bit unsure at first, the more I kept reading (from volume one to four), the more interesting it became.

I guess I really do have a soft spot for manga with band or music settings (like Given). Same with this one—the emotions feel all over the place in the best way. The way they chase their dreams, the touch of romance that builds up the tension, and how reality hits you with the reminder that we’re just tiny particles in this world, with no real control over what happens—except for how we choose to respond. Yeah, I honestly didn’t expect to like this as much as I do.

I liked this one. Although I tend to like music/band manga by default. I liked the couple and the plot was pretty interesting. This first volume mostly established the story and then went into the beginning of Aso and Shina's relationship and Shina's intro into music. There was something about it that didn't exactly grab me, but I do want to read more if I can find the rest of the series in English. Tragic that futekiya doesn't have it.

Kimagure na Jaguar es un BL adulto que habla de un miedo muy real: ¿quién eres cuando pierdes aquello que más amas? 😔🎶. Sojun lo tenía todo —talento, fama, banda y pareja— hasta que su audición empieza a fallar. ¿Solución? Huir. Literalmente. Se va del país, deja a su novio Arata y se pierde para “encontrarse” 🌍💨.

Lo interesante es que este manga no va de drama exagerado ni de rupturas tóxicas. Va de amor adulto: silencios, tiempos distintos y confianza real 🧠❤️. Arata sabe que Sojun es inestable como un gato 🐈‍⬛, pero aun así lo espera sin victimizarse ni atarlo con cadenas emocionales. Y eso, en BL, es casi milagroso.

¿Hay quien dirá que Sojun es una red flag andante? 🚩 Puede ser. Pero aquí se retrata más como alguien lidiando con trauma e identidad que como un manipulador. La relación funciona porque ambos entienden sus límites y se eligen sin posesión.

No es un manga explosivo ni lleno de giros. Es slice of life con música, un poco de spicy y mucha introspección 🎧🛏️.

Conclusión: emotivo, honesto y reconfortante 💚. No cambia tu vida, pero sí te abraza un rato. Ideal si buscas un BL adulto, tranquilo y con corazón.

Très bon premier tome, j'ai beaucoup aimé le retour en arrière pour découvrir la rencontre des membres du groupe et surtout entre Arata et Shiina. !

Relectura després de fa mil veient que s'ha publicat la sèrie completa en francès (però no a Futekiya, on la vaig llegir originalment)
Un BL entre un editor d'una revista musical i un guitarrista que s'ha retirat dels escenaris que tenen una relació força intermitent i ambigua. En aquest primer volum veiem els seus inicis a l'institut, com el guitarrista aprèn a tocar gràcies a l'altre, se n'enamora, però en descobrir-se que és un geni de la música la cosa es tensa. Crec que té potencial perquè hi ha cert rerefons entre els personatges principals amb la qual cosa es pot esperar una evolució interessant.
