This was an explosive read. Dutch ain't sh*t! I really hate him and I hope he gets what he deserves! Charlie or Demarkus, whatever he wants to be called. He is a whole liar. He's crazy and not wrapped too tight. I hope her and Prince can patch things up. Duke, smh you messed up big time! Should've just told her the truth from the beginning. A few errors not many.

I don't know where to start. I really feel bad for Pilar it like she can't catch a break. It a few people I that definitely have to be dealt. Every time you think you know what direction Bianca is going in here come a twist. The ending is crazy I starting part 3 right now.

This left off exactly where part 1 ended. This was a good read, but I have to say that part 1 was better. Pilar and Duke are gong through it. We are introduced to new characters. This book is filled with lies and betrayal. Can't wait to see what happens in part 3.

Wow... just... WOW!
This entire series had me going crazy! Duke had to grow on me. At first I hated his guts but later I learned to understand his character. Pilar was one of a kind. Her boldness... tough attitude and even compassion shaped who she became as a woman. From the 1st installment I knew this book was going to snatch my heart outta my chest! Duke and Bakari was one in the same! They shocked me the most!! Part 3 concluded to everyone lives, possibilities and shortcomings. I’m happy Pilar got the closure and new beginnings she deserved and I’m happy Duke remained true to his heart! I would definitely recommend this series!

Damn, Damn, Damn
Part 2 had me on the edge of my seat. Very well written. I can't take anymore heartache for Pilar. She just can't get a break. I can't stand that damn Edwina, she's a hoe sleeping with the King, Dutch and Bakari. I hope she gets what's coming to her. Thingsbhave to get better for Pilar all the secrets need to come out so that Pilar can finally get the truth about her father and her and Dutch can finally be happy together.

I’m still interested in Prince and what his deal is. The story is alright but again Pilar is too much and the things she does makes her character unlikable. Duke is waaaaay too soft and the author did a really bad job at writing from all the male pov’s but his was the worse. Even the way they speak is off by a long shot so it’s not believable at all. The stuff with the father was just enough to keep you going.

Ok Duke's dad needs to get handled by somebody lol He is sooo evil. And how could Duke marry Edwina. Just why? She seems really sneaky. The ending was such a cliffhanger. Like how did Pilar get in trouble for that murder. See this book was too much I need part 3 like now!!!!! Lol

Really good read and it picked up right where the first book left off. I must stay this installment picked up the pace and flowed steady throughout the book and held my attention until the end. This book had me all in my feelings with Duke and Pilar and can't wait to see what happens next. OMG...the plot thickens. Ready for PT. 3

These secrets just keep rolling out of the closet. Dutch just keeps sinking to new lows. Pilar just can't seem to catch a break. Duke needs to learn to listen. For him to just disregard what Pilar said was terrible. Really feel bad for her. Hope that she is able to wiggle out of the crap storm that landed on her lap.

Just when i thought Pilair was gonna FINALLY get some peace, cuz she done been through a lot in the last 2 books, i don’t think my heart has ever hurted for a character this much. The prince ohhh yea his always out of the loop crying, mad butt is on my baaad side, he can’t seem to keep my girl safe at all. On to book 3

What a story.... Duke is one crazy sexy brother..... Poor lil Pilar getting exactly what she forbade to ever su come to, being in Love..l..it’s unfortunate all of the crazy things she’s had to endure, im hoping she will be able to overcome all of the unfortunate trauma she’s experiencing and come back to loving Duke in spite of his other life.

I was on edge with Pilar & Duke relationship if they were going to be together or not. OMG! Duke dad the King is a freaking psychopath of how he treat women and killed his brother cause of jealousy. I hope Duke mess his father up for what he is done.
