This book had been on my radar for a while. And it did not disappoint. I am telling you, in this society, we can never have enough reminders of the sort this book provides. Truly a powerful look at the origins, history, and heart of Lent, with a daily invitation to release a different thing (and it's rarely a concrete item) each day of Lent. I feel I could return to this book every year and it would not be too often.
