Captured for another, but this human captive should be his...

Duron the alien warrior Commander is loyal to his responsibility; capture human females for high ranking leaders to keep their species alive. While he does not have the rank to claim a human female of his own, he is chosen to guard one named Shia Heton. Now, he must restrain himself from taking the female that does not belong to him, or be punished by death.

Shia Heton was on a science mission to uncover the mysteries of the alien race of the Corillions, who are at war with Earth. But when she is captured, she goes from observing the race to being up close and personal with one of its Commanders, Duron Spaunok. She can’t trust him after his ruthless actions, so why does she find herself staring with desire at his powerful dominating physical features? Why does she want him even more when he reveals the deep dark secret of where the Corillions really came from, and what they need from human females? His life is now in her hands, but she must betray her own humankind to do it.

Duron (Corillion Mates) is the first book in the Corillion Mates series. All books in this page-turning Sci Fi Alien Abduction Romance can be read as standalones, there are no cliffhangers, and happily ever afters are guaranteed!

I find it hard to believe this rating is so high?!? For one, the aliens speak English as their first language.... really?!? Well, I hope for their sakes, that all the females they are stealing from Earth don't come from all the numerous non English speaking countries:/ Also, if these aliens spawn, and only live for 22 years every 1,000 years or so, how in the world did they become so technologically advanced?!? Also, the conversations seem very basic back and forth without any extra nuisances to add that spark and connection to the characters. Also, how long did it take for her want to have sex and forgive the alien for destroying her fellow male scientists while he was always angry at her during their short and rare communications - what, a whole few days!?!

Duron Spaunok is an alien warrior Commander sent to capture Earth women for high ranking Corillions in order to continue the species. Who finds himself drawn to one that is not his.
Shia Heton has come to space to learn about the Corillions. She is able to learn where they come from. Will she betray him? Will he lose his head over her? I give it 5 stars. " I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy without pressure to do so".

Probably one of the most basic reads. Had some promise to be a good book and series but there was depth to it whatsoever. And it just seemed that it was written so basic, raw. Had to hard time finishing it just because of the writing style. Disappointed because I wanted to continue reading the series thinking it would be another good sci fi series and I can't even bring myself to now

Duron

Another great book by Ms Starr. Will be the makings of another great series. I sincerely hope these Aliens get into as much trouble & find their loves as the ones in Ms Starrs' other series. Highly recommend this book to other readers who enjoy & love this genre

Duron

Maria Starr really knows how to get your attention and her storytelling is really out of this world. Corillion Mate is a wonderful story of alien romance and how differences are not only good but can be wonderful.

This is a intriguing book to read and I really enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this book is: a alien warrior commander chosen to guard a human female (Duron Spaunok), a feisty woman that was captured while on a science mission (Shia Heton), drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, action, adventure, defiance, threats, attractions, bonding, fighting, lust, emotional feelings, love, and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. The characters are well developed with personalities and have feelings of fear, needs and desires. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a good entertaining alien romance.

Really badly written. Lots of grammar issues, lots of logic issues, virtually no character development, and a story that jumped from one thing to the next.

Great First Book

Love this author's books; she is so creative in her writing. This book is exciting, sexy aliens, adventure, and steamy romance that does not go over the top with awesome characters? A must buy and so ready for the next one.

Dnf

Did Not Finish. Lacked any kind of character depth. Narrative was very repetitive and jumped around too often. One star.

I enjoy sci-fi romances. This one was a good read with lots of action and romance. You have an interesting species that is looking to make changes and is not afraid to take what they want. I liked the interactions between the characters as they fought their feelings for each other considering the circumstances.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

During is entrusted with returning earth women to the elite of his planet as mates. Somehow on the journey he comes to care for his human prisoner, Shia. They bond against all rules and traditions. Can he keep her? Can her keep her and himself alive? I liked the story very much. The Corillions however, I did not like! They needed a reality check! Lol. Perhaps more to come about these people will develop that.

Space Soap Opera

So, captured by aliens, in a struggle with earthlings, falling in love, then having aliens fight for you to the death. . . .I think Shia, our human female heroine, is one adventurous woman! This book had all the trappings of a great space opera. It was fun and exciting and I hope to read more about future Corillion Mates!

A good beginning to a new sci-fi romance. To start the series of we get to know a little about this invading race of alien men and why they need human females to mate. I expect that each book will give us a new glimpse and will hopefully show how are two races may be able to live together instead of at war. There are a few slightly hot scenes, so I suggest for mature readers only.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Wow what a great start to a new series
Duron was on a mission to capture earth
females to keep his race alive.
Shia was working on a space station when it was
attack and she was taken to be a life mate.
Things did not go to plan because Duron started to
have fillings for Shia. What will they have to go through
before they get their happy ending or do they.

This story didn't blow my socks off, but it was ok. I have high hopes that maybe the next book in the series will be more to my liking. Overall the book was just "Meh" to me. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven't been compensated in anyway.
