Every page overflows with joy, love and warmth, making this a sure favorite for the upcoming Easter season.
This is one of those books, which screams quality the second its picked up. Little hands will enjoy the softer but very solid cover and pages, which sill take some abuse. Parents, on the other hand, will appreciate the easy to clean surfaces and stability of the pages. And it's so cute! As always with Precious Moments, every illustration warms the heart and brings across a feeling of comfort and happiness. It's a treat simply to flip through the pages time and again. Youngest listeners will also have no trouble recognizing the various Easter scenes and will easily relate to the situations.
Each two-page spread holds a two verse, four line poem. These are written with love and are easy for even younger listeners to understand. The poems hit upon well-known Easter moments, while threading the message directly into situation kids will recognize and reminding of God's love. The poems are followed by a short Bible verse, which relates directly to the poems' topics, and there's a very short, easy to understand prayer. Everything is written with children in mind and bringing across the message of God's love for them in a gentle way, which they'll understand.
The poems and illustrations are a lovely way to ring in the Easter season and remind young listeners what Easter is all about, while threading it into traditions and moments they already treasure and understand. It's simply a calming, warming treat.

I know... no one is even thinking about Easter yet! I mean Valentines Day is still a few weeks away so why should I post an Easter thing already?
Well, I just know Easter always creeps up quickly on us. I also, LOVE LOVE LOVE Easter. Easter is such a good celebration and I love reflecting on the power of my Jesus! Oh and spring is my favorite season because we start saying goodbye to cold winter and snow.
This is an adorable board book that has 32 pages of truth for your little ones. If you love Precious Moments art then this little book will make you smile!
This book has scriptures as well as poems and my favorite is the little prayers.
I think this little book is one that should be placed in your child's Easter basket. The pastel colors of the illustrations make it perfect for Easter as well as the Eater message scattered through each page!

I always enjoy little Precious Moments books and items. This book has some cute illustrations and some great little prayers for kids and poems. I was disappointed on how much emphasis was put on dyeing Easter eggs, bunnies, Easter baskets, etc. There are a few poems and prayers about Jesus and what Easter is really about but I felt the message is geared toward all of the other things that seem to overtake the day. I would suggest talking with your child about these things and discuss what is important to you and your family. The other things aren't bad, but for younger people I feel like all they might get out of it is the coloring egg dyeing etc.

I loved sharing the fun poems and verses with the kids. They’re lighthearted but just right for starting our children’s hearts off on the Godly path. The imagery pulls together the Easter of today with the reminder of why we’re celebrating that glorious day.
