This is a great series, not that you'd expect anything less from Nella Tyler. Life in a small town where the expected is the norm and lives are planned out in so many ways. Occasionally there are those who want more out of life, and that was the case of Tim and Jenna. Tim hated small town life and ventured to the west coast to make his fortune with his technology company. He was content and had no intention of returning to his hometown. Jenna on the other hand, is very content with her small town life as a Doctor. Fate intervenes when Tim is forced home to care for his Dad after a freak accident. With Jenna in the picture as his father's Doctor, chemistry and passion are abundant. Does this make Tim look at small town life in a different light? No spoiler here, but you'll fall in love with Jenna's niece, she's adorable

Book #1
You can go back home. Family is important. Love conquers all. Definitely a happily ever after book that you will love reading.
Had a little problem at the beginning of the book. Tim was a total self absorbed pig. Don't let that stop you. Once you get to Chapter 2 and meet Jenna, everything falls into place. She is the rock of the story.
Most memorable character in the book.....Jenny's sister aka Mrs. June Cleaver.
Enjoy the book. Tim and Jenna's story just prove that dreams do come through.

Good story not great
As this is a good series, there are others out there that are better. Author tends to use the same phrases multiple times which in return makes it a bit boring. I normally hate it when one of my books end but found that I wasn't too disappointed when this one did.

I really like this book. Tim graduated high school and left his small little Southern town and swore never to return. One phone call changes everything. He returns to his small town to care for his father. In doing so he not only repairs their relationship but he even finds love.

Home means two different things to Tim and Jenna. To Tim it is a place he never felt he fit in, always running away to make his life a better place. To Jenna it is a place of comfort. The only place the new doctor could see herself working in. When a freak accident sends Tim back home to help him father recovery, he finds that the place he hated living in before now actually is the place he finds comfort and love, and Jenna is a big part of that. I loved the chemistry between the two characters and enjoyed reading about their journey to becoming soulmates. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a happily ever after.
