Oh, so cute. The pictures are photos of an actual mama and baby polar bear at some zoo somewhere (I forget the city). The baby polar bear shows off all the things he can do all by himself (sit, stand, etc.) which are also things any babies reading this book are probably also learning. But even though he loves to do things by himself at the end he still loves to go back to his mommy. I fell in love.

Could be good for a wriggly toddler to imitate, but the baby was not interested.
