Applies California. Map shows mostly Tahoe National Forest lands, northwest part of Lake Tahoe, and the Iowa Hill BLM land west of Sugar Pine Reservoir. Explore the national forest north, west, and south of Truckee; opportunities for camping, hiking, boating and fishing at reservoirs, and OHV use east of Sugar Pine Reservoir. Boating, fishing, and camping at several campgrounds along Lake Tahoe western shoreline; some also have hiking and mountain biking trails. A section of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail passes north to south with access west of Donner Lake. Official Bureau of Land Management metric topographic map @1:100,000 scale (roughly 3/4"=1 mile), color-coded to show surface management, i.e. agency vs. private or tribal ownership. Map shows roads, water features, recreation sites, points of interest, and the township and range lines. Maps show trails and developed recreation areas such as campgrounds.
