I have thoroughly enjoyed digging into this book. The compilers have done an excellent job of combining the classic with the contemporary in the liturgies and devotional materials provided in its pages. My Scottish Presbyterian ancestors would have prayed and worshiped with earlier editions of this book before they came to the United States 200+ years ago, which perhaps accounts for why the Keltik Christian tradition resonates with me so much. In sum, this edition of the BCO is a wonderful combination of Reformed and Keltik spirituality, which is equally well suited for public worship and private devotion.

A beautiful celtic/Scottish prayer book that I felt was influenced by Methodist and Anglican traditions. Although I am not a Presbyterian, I enjoyed this immensely.
