This was a fairly decent anthology with stories that were based on the theme and did not waver. Based on an average of my ratings for each story this gets 3.6 stars. The stories have sweet elements, scary elements, and some downright creepy elements.

"Ghostly Lovers" by Kyrena Lynch, 3 stars. This is a very nice poem that offers up some nice imagery along with a flowing cadence.

"Valentine's Day" by C. A. Keith, 4 stars. A husband goes on a trip before Valentine's day and plans to make it home to his wife. What happens when the unthinkable occurs.

"The Forgotten Twin" by Audrina Lane, 4 stars. A widow who has lost both her husband and child finds herself the recipient of notes and flowers from an admirer. When things take a stage turn she decides to do the unthinkable.

"Unbraid My Hair" by Karen J Mossman, 4 stars. Cassidy Newbold sees dead people and sometimes helps them pass over, she also helps them get messages to those they love. She gets ahead of herself when she tells an attractive man she has seen his sister when in fact she hasn't.

Part of the Cassidy Newbold series.

"The Wishing Time" by Adele Marie Park, 2.5 stars. A girl wishes for the perfect man. one like her grandfather but gets more than she expected.

Not a ghost story like the rest but definitely paranormal in nature.

"Eternal Lovers" by Jane Rishon, 3 stars. A newlywed couple purchases a large estate and keeps many of the furnishings and paintings. Among the paintings is one titled 'Eternal Lovers' which starts causes them to feel strange and seems to change from day to day. Their friends start to notice the changes but ignore them.

"Raven's Hill" by Lynn Mullican, 4 stars. Serena buys an old fixer-upper in the middle of nowhere to get away from it all. As she walks the property she finds graves and the names of two people and trinkets for them both which she takes home. When they invade her home she has no idea what she has unleashed.

"The Other Side of Here" by Jennifer Deese, 4 stars. Rose is 90 yrs old and has been confined to a home for the aged. The facility allows their charges to fall into their memories if that is what makes them happy but the new nurse does not agree. Rose is waiting for her husband, dead many years, to come for their anniversary on Valentine's Day like he has for years. No one believes he will come, but she does.

The fact that the stories were varied is the best thing. You have some that are really sweet or confusing or even scary so that there is something for everyone. Not my favorite holiday but it is one I can still look to for romance once in a while.

An interesting collection of short stories that left me shaking and reading with the light on. The stories were all involving ghostly mysteries, some of which I enjoyed more than others.

A few of the stories were incomplete leaving this reader wanting to read more. It would have been nice to have a link to the next installment of the story so that the reader would be able to connect quickly. Otherwise, readers will forget to go back and look up these particular stories.

I would recommend this book to those fans of horror and creepy mysteries that frighten one to the core.

I receive a copy of this book and chose to review it without compensation.

In my opinion, most of the stories in this collection were just "OK" stories, or stories that might have been better had they not felt like they were just a scene taken from a longer piece. There was only one story in this collection I really loved. Thankfully, since the story I loved was the last one, I was able to at least end the book on a positive note. I'm not saying the other stories were bad. It's more they either felt like they weren't finished, or didn't really appeal to me.
