Before You by Lisa Cardiff Catching Fox by Aimee McNeil Harley by Michelle Jo Quinn Lines We Forget by J.E. Warren Raining Down Redemption by BK Rivers Scarred By Love by C.A. Harms The Last Rock King by Seven Steps
Reckless: A Rocker Romance Collection by Various. Average 4 stars Below are my reviews for the 5 star:
Catching Fox by Aimee McNeil: 5 stars Adalynn/Damon, I. E. Bee/Fox. Wow! The writer did a great job with these two characters, with all the feels. Adalynn is beyond amazing in her capacity to love and give. Damon loved her always but didn’t feel worthy. The heartbreak in their story is so real, and their HEA so heartwarming.
Fame and Obsession by Cora Kenborn: 5 stars Phoebe/Julian. Loved the characters and the writing style. The pace was good and the storyline kept me interested. Lots of twists, chemistry, secrets, and threats. Ends with a HEA, but also on a cliffhanger.
Harley by Michelle Jo Quinn: 5 stars Cade/Jax. Loved the evolution of this story between Cade and Jax. And Harley. Trauma, love, and good people, with a good pace and wonderful HEA.
Raining Down Redemption by BK Rivers: 5 stars Jordan/Reggie. Loved this story! It’s well written with a touch of angst, a big secret, and a second chance. Nice epilogue. —PTators
This review is for Fame and Obsession By Cora Kenborn
LORD HAVE MERCY!!!!! This book...... BLEW. ME. AWAY!!!!! Ok. where to begin!!! There was SO much intensity in this book. From the very beginning my mind was going crazy trying to figure things out and EVERYONE was suspect in my mind!!! Julian and Phoebe are damaged souls trying to plow through life without any more curveballs thrown at them. When they finally give in to their explosive chemistry lives are turned upside down and they have to wrestle their way in hopes of coming out on the other side unscathed. Past demons threaten to destroy what they built and I was literally yelling at the book like they would actually listen to me. Cora Kenborn's Debut novel is Phenomenal and leaves you yearning for more!!!
Lots of novellas here. Book 1 was really good. I read Catching Fox a while back. It was fun to reread it. Book 2 you can tell the author is a younger woman. The way Cooper talks he talks like a girl and is definitely a Mama's boy. Ugh. Also. Cooper is an enabler. He should throw his Mom in rehab and let them dry her out. Thank goodness the outcome was positive. Book 3 Phobie is an extremely rude person. In the field she is in you do not get ahead by being obnoxious. Gage was the star of this story. What a riot. Book 4 Loved one Book 5 fun read....
The story that I found to be outstanding was Cora Kenborn's Fame and Obsession.
Phoebe Ryan was running away from her life in North Carolina and the demons chasing her. Julian Bale was a hot rock star that had demons of his own. One night fate would intervene and bring them together. What happens next??
This book is filled with twists and turns. It will have you laughing, crying, anxious and ready to throw something. If you like angst, you will love this one.
Rocking A Difference: Harley A book with a difference, which I enjoyed, not your typical rock 'n roll romance story. This is a well written book with strong characters and a solid plot, it will have you shedding a tear yet also laughing. Harley, an Eight year old, Jax, the rocker who is Harley's dad, and Cade, Harley's bodyguard, form a unbreakable connection with each other. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Cade short for Cadance she is a bodyguard her first assignment she has been asking and asking for a along time for this and she is to be a bodyguard for little Harley her dad Jax Clark is the famous Rock star and he is handsome and his voice is like the song of angels and she has fallen for him but she has to be strong and not get in bed for him and protect his daughter and she has fallen in love with the little girl she is so precious but things get in the way and the ex mother is a pain int he butt for real. Such a wonderful book I cried and laughed and cheered for all of them such a awesome book loved it . I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Michelle
First I must say what and awesome group of writers for the Reckless set. I got two books in and knew that I just had reviewed this set. I was going to wait until I had them all read but this is too epic to pass up. I will add the other reviews later. Fame & Obsession by Cora Kenborn As I start all my reviews a good book must have 4 things going for it, It must make the reader laugh, cry, want to throw it and the reader can not put it down. Cora Kenborn achieved that and so much more with this book. Fame & Obsession (Lords Of Lyre Book 1) what to say about this wonderful book? I can't wait to read what happens next!! Cora is a master at weaving you into the story with her magical words. Just when you think you are good to set the book down for a break the next line makes you grab the book tighter to find out what going on next. I love the banter between all the characters. The quick witty one liners that you go back and re-read just because they were that good. I see a lot of talent and promise in Cora and her next books that I am not so patiently waiting for. This book gets more the 5 stars in my books. This is a must read book!
