This one was very cute. I enjoyed the brotherly banter and fighting between the younger brothers and Shu's 'brother', how Obinata was so resistant of Shu joining the family but I also liked that there were individual sweet moments where we got to see a bit of each brother and see them handle certain things about themselves. There's no romance in this one but there's so much of a mystery left between Obinata and Shu that I hope one develops soon. Looking forward to the rest of the series nonetheless!

This series has a lot going for it: Four brothers and an absent older sister (who sounds like a real Amazon!). Each of the brothers has a separate focus, but they all "get along together." There are fights, but the real affection of a family is clear.

Then comes ... Shuu. And his adopted son. Shuu states that he has married the older sister and she has sent him to "take care" of her brothers. Which he starts doing, in a very matter-of-fact way. Numerous complications develop - this series has 7 separate titles and numerous volumes. Chuckles, some pathos, and lots about what is important about being a family.

This series is tagged "shounen-ai" but it doesn't get "that way" for awhile, so be patient.

IMHO a series well worth reading.

I quite like this series, it is a little heavy. You can certainly tell that there are certain nuances and personality bits that were described in the original written book that are a bit harder to express through art. But I think the manga does an excellent job of creating an atmosphere throughout the book.

Volume 1 is basically just setting the scene and elaborating the characters of the brothers, and of their new "brother-in-law" (I want to be a fly on the wall for this couple meeting and agreeing to get married! will we ever even meet the sister?) and his ruffian teen ward. It's not mind-blowing but I'm interested to see what happens.

Wow, this was just flippin' hilarious! I swear I laughed from page one 'til about ten minutes after the last page! I hadn't had such a good giggle in a while and it was a lot of fun! The art is good, the story was entertaining and light-hearted, just a good, fun read!

The first thing you can notice here is that the drawing is not very good... but since I read other works from this author, I kew there is going to be an improvement.

The story is a bit messy in some parts, but slowly (very) you can find out the replies t some questions....

A cute, sweet and funny family story. Left me with a warm feeling, taking off a star for the absence of romance (book is billed as shonen ai)

This one is just rather average to me. There are times when I get some of the brothers confuse artwise although they all were different enough personality wise. I do like the little mystery going on with what really happened between Taiga and Asuou. I just didn't really feel any sparks or chemistry between these two that would lead to a more romantic story since most of the volume was filled with the brothers slowly accepting Asuou into the family.
