Absolutely loved this book! I'm a little upset with how stone did Lamar! I don't think it was that serious! But I can't wait to find out what's in store for the next book!
Loved the book. It caught me attention from the beginning and kept it. The book just flowed perfectly. Lamar had the girl he wanted but didn't want to give her the title she wanted. Ro had strong feelings for Lamar and all she wanted was the title of being his girlfriend. Ro having to grow up taking care of herself is use to being in control but all that change once she meets Stone. When Ro crackhead mom comes up to her job and fight her then steal her purse, she is left when not a dime to her name. Lamar hooks her up with his old buddy Stone to make some quick cash but things go different when he sees her and just got to have her.Its bit hard for her to deal with him and leave Lamar when she see him hugged up with her old co/worker. Stone is the big man around Georgia but that comes with haters and he founds that out once his worker J starts stealing and to later find out he talking to FEDS. Stone quickly take care of the problem but was he the only one????? Lamar not able to accept Ro moving on they get into and he ends up pushing her, which cause Stone to end his football chances, and plans in getting revenge on Stone. I wonder if Ro mom was playing her when she told her she wasn't her reAl mother but her aunt and she took her from her sister. So many questions can't wAit for part 2.
I really liked this read. There was some violence but the college campus, smart girl, street dude with class, legit businesses, and the love of art. This is a bomb firecracker couple but you know there is drama lurking can't wait for part 2. Really good read and not typical story line
I really, really enjoyed this book. It was well written and the storyline just flowed and kept me engaged. I could not put it down. I love Stone and Ro...they are the perfect power couple. Even though their relationship was fast paced, they still share that chemistry that everyone loves. So who is this mystery guy that wants to help split Ro and Stone
If you have ever thought you had a hard life and would do anything to make your life better. I would recommend that you read this book and she where your imagination takes you!
I didn't thunk was going to like the story at first because it started out as the typical thug love story with the guy cheating on the girl behind her back with someone she knows. I was wrong because it got good after that. The drama kept coming until the end. I was loving Ro and Stone from the beginning because he seemed like a good guy who came to her rescue only to find that he's not what he seems to be. J got what he deserved but I think he went too far with Lamar. Poor Ro may be in over her head with Stone. He has a dark side. In the end, she may not be able to handle him. I thought she was too fast to give up the panties without knowing who she's dealing with. Now she may learn that the woman she thought was her mother may not be. This book was good to the last drop but ended too soon for me. I'm looking forward to Part 2.
Totally enjoyed this book from beginning to end and still wanted more. I liked the storuline and it moved at a fast yet steady pace with plenty of twist, turns, drama, action and betrayal. Mo Howard is a good storyteller and she's draws you into the story and makes the characters come alive. It was well written and I loved the chemistry between Stone and Ro. Can't wait to see what's next for these characters.Job well done Mo Howard
Very intriguing and interesting book. The characters and plots flowed together. I read the book straight through. The author should be very proud of this body of work.
