Take What You Want...

Brandon Rosen is a man who refuses to admit what he wants—namely, a life with another man. Being gay just won’t do. It will not go over well with his family, particularly his overbearing father. Thus, for years Brandon has tried to deny his attraction to men, refusing to entertain even the possibility that his perfect person might be a…him. That was t

I'm missing something with this series I think as, although this one was a much better length, it still had too much repetition of the narrative and interchangeable sex scenes.

I think one of my biggest problems is that these are technically New Adult as they're set in college/university and they just don't read that age to me.

I'm tagging the next bit but it's not really a spoiler so much as some thoughts on narrative choices.

Simon is Tyler's best friend (from the first book in the series, Worth the Risk) and Brandon is Tyler's ex. Brandon hurt Tyler badly. Stringing him along, using him, never willing to admit he's is gay, deep in the closet. He's not a very sympathetic character. Simon see’s Brandon taking pictures of Tyler and Jax, his boyfriend and immediately assumes that Brandon is up to no good.

He confronts Brandon and realizes he could be deeply attracted to him, something he doesn't understand because all h

Spectacular book two in this series. You meet both Simon, Ty's best friend, and Brandon, Ty's closeted ex-boyfriend, in the first book. Brandon has always refused to come out of the closet because of his family. But Simon may be just what he needs to fully come to terms with who he is and finally come out of the closet. It's a rocky road to their HEA, but so worth it! Can't wait for the next one in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This turned out even better than I thought. After reading about Brandon in book one, I was kind of dreading seeing what an ass he would be in this one. But it was so good. My only problem really, is this book needs to be gone over again. Quite a few grammatical errors. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Book one showed Brandon as a complete dick. Towards the end he tried to make it better, after making an ass out of himself. In this we get to see why. I admit at first I didn't like him. Bu
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book two in the Infinity series. I would recommend that you read book one, Worth The Risk, if only to know just how Brandon wrecked Tyler 3 years ago. Not totally necessary, though.

Brandon is so far in the closet, he doesn't even know WHERE he is anymore! Facing up to his father, and NOT going to law school, Brandon now comes face to face with Tyler, and he has to own up to what he did. And he does. Tyler's best

This second book in the Infinity Series is a great mix of sweet, sexy, funny, and even a bit infuriating at times. The story is a little longer than I felt like it needed to be, but the characters and story line are so interesting that it held my interest the entire way. Simon was easily one of my favorite characters from the first book, so I was definitely glad to see more of him here. However, I was on the fence about Brandon, and several times I found myself getting frustrated with his push a ...more

This is a well-written story with a lot of hot sex and some angst. I really enjoyed this book but I think the first book in this series, Worth The Risk, had more relatable characters. I had a hard time connecting to Brandon and Simon even though I loved Simon in the first book. I was halfway through the story before I started to warm up to Brandon and I think that Simon became less likeable the more he pushed Brandon to come out. Brandon's father does not accept any of his decisions so he is sur ...more

Finally Letting Go ( Infinity Series Book 2) by C.J. Lynne. This is Brandon Rosen and Simon Carter.

Brandon and Simon’s story grabbed me from start to finish. Their characters were so real and likable. This was a fun, emotional, and sensual read.

The first book in this series was really good but just too long. Well, this second book in the series was fantastic! I think since I had read the first book in this series that I had a better understanding of Brandon and Simon’s characters.

I fell in love with Simon in Worth The Risk, happy to see his own love story!

Simon was one of my favorite characters in the first infinity series book . Though the story was Th and Jax, you couldn't help but to love Simon . He was supportive , loyal , and downright funny . I was ecstatic when I found out that he would have his own love story and the second book of the series . Even more surprising was the fact that Brandon Rosen was to be his love interest . I didn't like Brandon in the first bo
