Cambridge Reading is a major new reading scheme which provides stimulating books and support materials for the teaching of reading throughout the primary years. This set, written and illustrated by Gerald Rose, centre around the slapstick adventures of a zany extended family – Mum, Dad, two children, youthful Gran and their crazy cat, Curly.
Gerald Hambledon Seymour Rose (b. 1935) is a British illustrator of children's books. He studied at Lowestoft School of Art and the Royal Academy. He has published a number of books together with his wife, Elizabeth Rose.
