Animal Architects - How Birds Build Their Amazing Homes

Rate this book
The variety of bird nests is truly amazing. Some birds build nests above ground, but others build them on or below the ground. There are nests that float and some that swing from branches. Some are even made of saliva, and others can weigh more than 5,500 pounds!

My new favorite low reading level animal non fiction series. It includes all the text features we want to be teaching for non fiction as well as an engineering project idea. K-3.
