Rarely does one find an inspirational book entertain as much as One Dog's Faith: How My Dog Helped Me Trust in God and Overcome Chronic Worrying by Tom Baker

In this book, we follow Mango the dog as she teaches her readers all about faith. You have heard about the faith of a child. Mango tells her readers about the faith of a dog.

Baker has a good sense of humor and treats us to what the world might look like through the eyes of a dog. Mango tells her readers about how her owner, Tom, learned to “Let go and let God.”

Throughout the book, Mango helps us to see how we, just like Tom, can give our troubles to God and sit back and enjoy the ride.

If you are struggling with faith, are at what you feel is the lowest of the low spots, you need to read One Dog’s Faith and see how one dog, and her family, learned to lean on God.

We give One Dog’s Faith all five stars. It is funny, well-written, inspired, and magical. We see how Tom goes from worrying all the time to saying in his mind, “I wonder how God is going to take care of this.” This book is truly inspirational.

What a fun book. When I read the description who this was a book written from the dog’s perspective, I admit I was a bit skeptical. I was concerned it would be a little too corny. I am a dog lover but do have my limits on reading overly cute books. But One’s Dog’s Faith was far from what I expected. It made me laugh and nod my head in agreement as I could imagine my own dogs say the same things.
Tom Baker took the book one step further than just a cute story. He provided some depth to the book and really make it even more worth reading. In each chapter, after the dog was given his say, Tom provided some of his own insight. After getting entertained by Mango along with Tom’s perspective, the reader has the opportunity to consider how some of Mango’s thoughts might apply to our lives.
One Dog’s Faith is well written. It is a fun book that any dog lover will enjoy. There was way more to this book than I had anticipated. It is a very heartwarming story and provides lessons of faith from a unexpected source. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

What a charming, fun read! I’m a dog lover, and the idea of a book written by a dog was intriguing! But a dog that has a fairly solid grip on theology? Even better!

I loved the insights that Mango had. I loved how she painted pictures of each of her humans and her objectives in caring for her humans. I loved how she stayed in touch with God in completing her mission with her family. I loved how sometimes her observations turned my world upside down for a few moments as I pondered her viewpoints. She’s a very wise, very caring dog!

This was a very enjoyable book to read. It didn’t take long, and yet the impressions and insights I gained will remain with me for a long time.

I gratefully received this book as an eARC from the author, publisher and NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased review.
