Time of the Werebears was a good short story.
Sadie and James were okay.
I've read of few of this authors books and have to say I've noticed so many inconsistencies in her books.
James was bit in the shoulder, but when he tries to rescue Sadie he has an open wound on his stomach. Then he's healed enough to have sex after the rescue. Yeah okay...???

After about 15-20% the rest of this book is a collection of short paranormals. Some fairytale re-tellings.

Sadie; after a bad divorce, goes on a tour of a castle that was part of her family. What she finds is so much more. She sees pictures of a tyrant who owned the castle. Then she hears voices calling her name. She finds a necklace and finds herself face to face with this tyrant, who says she will marry him. Sadie is still in shock, when this Lord Lachlan tries to take her by force. By defending herself she gets thrown into the dungeon, where she meets James, who is a whole lot more than she realizes. Together they escape but the journey has just begun. Read along to find out what comes next. Will she find herself happy or will she die? Can she ever find her way back to her time?
This is a three book set. Each is sold separately but really need to be read together, as it is all one story. Either way, you will love Sadie's story!

Short, not so sweet in places Scottish werebear story. Sadie goes on a trip to find her past and ends up in the oast !! During a not so nice time when one Laird wanted her to kill off the werebear clan, and the ither wanted her to continue the line, then send her back to the future ; without her child !! Neither option was appealing !! Read this intriguing take on time travel and werebear history . 4⭐'s for likeable characters, steamy sex scenes, with only one man ( her alpha male), and a heroine who doesn't run off and cry when confronted by not one, but two very icky "grooms".

Bears On My!

It was a fun, easy story to read and the author sure knew how to a character like Lachlan, whom I refuse to call Lord, hated. The book was quick and good but was a little hard for me to get into at first. I think that was because the bear shifters seemed a little to take and unwilling to fight for what they knew was right. For instance with Broc, the shifter knew he was horrible and were drilling to sacrifice Sadie to him for themselves, that seemed weak to me for shifters.

Fun!

Fun characters and stories.... However, editors pay attention..... when there are incorrectly used words or misspellings, it detracts from the book. Please be more careful when proofreading...

James and Sadie have quite the adventure. With time traveling, shifter bears, and an evil Lord to face, there was plenty of excitement in this book. My only gripe was there is some inconsistency in events and injuries that occur that yank you out of the flow of the story.

Interesting bear shifter and human romance that involves time travel. It's followed by a large number of samples that I didn't read.
Typos in main story: lay used for lie twice, some repetition.

I found these stories good, but some smaller parts are a bit boring to me. I would not mind to read more.

This was a wonderful short story with a twist with a back in time. We meet characters that are looking for something special there is just a big bolder in their way to be together. Will Sadie be able to get her wish and return to her family. James is a rebel and when he meets Sadie he is hook by her, he just unable to have her. Who will our lovely Sadie totally belong to? Recommend this book

Ok, I admit it, I fell for James almost as much as Sadie did.
He was such a sweetheart and did everything he could to help and care for Sadie when she appeared.
Plus there are several other stories in the book.
Well worth a read.

The title story was good. This book is made up of novellas. These stories are all about paranormal shifters. The area is in Scotland. These are historic stories not contemporary or futuristic. This is a great book to read while waiting at the doctor's office, during a coffee break or on a bus ride home from work. Yes, I would recommend this book, if these type of stories are something that interests you. The description should probably reflect these additional stories.

I liked this book the story is very good, Sadie has had a bad marriage so goes away to get over it and think about her marriage and no good husband (ex), goes on a tour of an old castle that was in her family from generations ago find things out about lord lachlan she doesn't like him very much as she is having a look round she here's someone call her name looks but doesn't see anyone which scars her a little so she goes off in a run then when she stops she sees this painting of herself with the Lord she can't make it out, and in a panic she goes in a room that looks like it's been trashed broken things all over the place and in this room she finds a necklace she looks around to see if anybody has seen her then she puts it on...... It's a good story I hadn't read a book from this author before and I was pleasantly surprised some sex but not to rude if you like paranormal then this is the book for you I had it free from the author for a honest review I think I've done that.

I have to say that I was really surprised when I read this book. I just couldn't get enough of it.

The first book was my favorite and I will say that the second one wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I guess I was a little disappointed in the ending. I know she still got her HEA but not the way I thought she would.

I love shifter books and this gave me a chance to read several in one book. I just couldn't seem to put it down. I liked this author's writing style and not everything was predictable. I have read several books by this author.

The concept was very interesting and had potential. And I enjoyed the time travel and shifter aspect of the story but that's where my likes end, unfortunately.
The dialogue was way off for me - it was too modern when compared to other historical stories and even other Highlander type stories that I've read. That was a big issue for me and a reason why I couldn't engage in the story. There was a historical plot and setting but everything else didn't fit. Also, the characters were just okay for me. There were times that they were entertaining but they were bland and lacking for the most part.

If your looking for a short romantic but intriguing and sexy read, then this one is for you. I don't normally read time travel or regency romance, but I do like the paranormal, and I'm glad I did it's full of steam and suspense.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Loved the time travel plot. Always had a soft spot for a highland warrior in a kilt! Jamie and Sadie are meant for each other, they just have to realize that fact for themselves.

I have only read the Werebear. The first story but I was so happy with it I wanted to leave a review. It was so gripping that I couldn't put it down. I was so worried about Sadie and the to men that thought they would get her. But James came through for her. Awesome story.
