Wolfhart Pannenberg, born in Stettin, Germany (now Szczecin, Poland), was a German Christian theologian. His emphasis on history as revelation, centred on the Resurrection of Christ, has proved important in stimulating debate in both Protestant and Catholic theology, as well as with non-Christian thinkers.
Excellent anthropology. I was worried it would be dated but those concerns were alleviated quickly. It's a classic that new works may stand on. This is a dense read that's packed each page with details. I have no doubt that the legends are true about Pannenberg reading a 1,000 pages each day while writing it
