Up to page 64 (of 160 pages, not including appendices), this mostly repeats his Basic BASIC. The audience appears not to be so much people who read Basic BASIC and want more, but rather people who have programmed in other languages and want a faster introduction to BASIC than most introductory books provide.

Even after page 64, there is still a lot of repetition from the earlier book as well as a deeper discussion of the topics.

It remains an interesting introduction to early programming in mathematics, especially polynomials, probability, and matrices.
