A work colleague once told me to get new ideas read an old book. I did just that to solve a problem at work as a process engineer. Hot tears are the result as Campbell states of a poor gating system of the metal. This simple reminder made us realize what needed to change in the part to increase the yield. Overall the book is a good reference for casting basics.
