For academic and public policy types: If you are looking for an introduction to law and economics that is accessible and with a focus on European civil law. Then this book provides a concise start and a good overview of the discipline. Wolfgang Weigel has dedicated his scholarly life to the field of Law and Economics. During the book, the author recommends an extensive array of recommendations for further reading. Hence, the book is well worth your time.

PS: I read the book in its original German version. Citation: Weigel, Wolfgang. "Rechtsökonomik, München (Vahlen)." (2003).
