I mean interesting concept but all the modern references trying to be funny and the forced nature of the characters I mean show not tell’s the first rule of writing. All a bit one note although I liked the bit at the end when doll softens it. Interesting idea the characters could of been really emotionally captivating if they did it right I think the sister dying was a bit unnecessary for his character would be more relatable if she didn’t but then I guess it would’ve been hard to give him a motivation unless some writing chops could be pulled.
