While it is a good idea to have an introductory Revenue Management text for hoteliers, it would be good had the author spent more time editing the book. There are grammatical and spelling mistakes in quite a few places.
As for the contents, I felt Gemma Hereter could give more real-life examples of how to use revenue management techniques. Yes, for instance, we know that forecasting is important, but what are the ways to make reliable predictions?
The positive side is that it is a quick read, and takes only about an hour to cover.
