Rooster and Hen show you the magic inside an art museum, from sculptures, to painting, to statues. Each piece of art tells a story. Rooster and Hen can show kids of all ages that learning about art can be fun.

Kathleen Reid is the author of four works of fiction: Paris Match, A Page Out of Life, Sunrise in Florence and Secrets in the Palazzo; she has won numerous Indie Awards in Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense. Kathleen loves art history and carefully weaves extensive research into her novels. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) Book Club selected Secrets in the Palazzo, a story about the rivalry between Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, for a program highlighting their European collection. Kathleen, chair of VMFA’s Canvas group of art enthusiasts, created a popular newsletter highlighting ‘Behind the Scenes’ information on current exhibitions and programs. Kathleen has appeared on Virginia This Morning, Live with Adriana Trigiani, ABC-News and CBS-News to talk about art, Italy and romantic intrigue. Her articles have been published in Southern Living Magazine, Richmond Magazine and Flower Magazine. Kathleen is a wife, proud mom of two amazing young women, a volunteer, dog mom and an avid runner.
