A history of women's struggle for legal rights ranges from the Revolutionary War to the present day, discussing efforts to become practicing lawyers and enter law school, gaining the right to hold property, and the appointment of the first women to the Supreme Court.
An excellent overview of the history of women in law. My only complaints are that the timeline is incredibly disjointed (jumping from the 1940s back to the 1920s, etc.) and that the sentences structures were unvaried.
