A huge book of amazing photographs and art references. I am in love! It is exactly what is says it is. For me it is 4.5 starts.

A thoroughly enjoyable review. Disclaimer:I am not an art student, nor an artist, or even a collector of 'Art' books. I didn't want to buy lots of books on Asian art: this is the one...Detailed history and explanations, and physically a beautifully printed and constructed book. Warning: It's VERY heavy. If you buy it, try to get it locally: you don't want to pay shipping by the pound on this if you can help it.

This has probably been one of my favorite art books of all time. It has EVERYTHING. I keep it and two other art books on my shelf for reference.
