I enjoyed this book so much that I bought a class set and will be using it with my mixed grades level 1 hs school classes this year.

It is written in plain language that is repetitive without being unnaturally so. The topic of lying lends to great conversation with HS kids as well. This book is a great first reader because the plot is not complex and allows kids to focus on the language rather than on all the intricacies of the story, thus making the book much for accessible without support from a teacher to see the finer points of the story.

Plus it lends well to doing readers theater as part of the unit.

It was easy to read as a Spanish student, but not to easy.

I think this book was very good for a beginner. The plot was not very good, and it was kind of boring.

It was a pretty good book. If you’re looking for a book to help you with your knowledge of vocabulary, I recommend you this book!

Silly book. Not much happens. A little boy lies, a lot. There are two versions to the story— one in past tense and the other present tense.
