Introduction to Fluid Mechanics

Rate this book
Fluid mechanics is often seen as a difficult subject due to the necessity to visualizing complex flow patterns and fluid behavior required by high level mathematics. This comprehensive resource overcomes this difficulty by introducing concepts through everyday examples before moving on to more involved mathematics.

Sadly, I didn't have the leisure to read every chapter.
The textbook used at school sucks so I picked up this japanese best seller to actually understand the subject matter. I didn't love fluid mechanics before (bad textbooks are largely to blame) as I thought it was dry and boring. But to my surprise, I was profoundly pleased by the intricate delicacies of the fluids - the poetry at the core of their being.
Reading this was to be struck by a beauty that I had been blind to all this time.
