The Mercy Date
It was only a crush, could it become more?.
You know those women who have it all figured out? Well, I’m not one of them. I graduated high school and got a job at a ‘coffee emporium’ — much to my parent’s dismay. All of my friends went to colleges out of state. And the one thing I want, I can never have.
Now my best friend wants me to be her father’s date at her mother’s wedding. Screwed up, right? But it gets worse. He’s the thing I want but can’t have.
Sam Richmond. My best friend’s dad. And an old friend of my dad.
He’s easy on the eyes, and a really good guy. Except everyone in my family has told me to stay away from him. And my mother just hates the man.
But Sam has his own ideas. And he doesn’t care what anybody else thinks.

2.5 I'M NOT BUYING THE LOVE STARS
“Sam, I’m glad that you’re my first,” I moaned as my best friend’s dad took my virginity. “And you’re perfect.”
As you can see from this statement, this is a taboo May/Dec story but I wouldn't call it erotica.
Why?
Well because it wasn't very erotic!
Only couple of sex scenes and they were very PC.
He even had to get worked up...if you know what I mean?! Lol
Also, the hero is her BFF father so much more taboo.
This is the same friend who talks her into being her father's date to her mom's wedding to another man!
Now let that statement sit for a minute and think!?
"WHAT KIND OF MESSED UP FAMILY IS THIS?"
However, My major issue was with the heroine. She said that
"I decided from a very young age that I’d wait until I got married before I had sex."
And she has successfully kept her ex boyfriends at arms length but the minute the hero (pardon my expression here) "pops a boner" she is all over his d*ck!
Again, this is a case of "insta-slut" just add hero!
I won't give this silly plot away more than I already have but good luck if you decide to read this.
For me, it was not really worth the 45 minutes it took to read this.
Plus side it's safe however no condoms and she wasn't on birth control.
Those are my thoughts!

This was a very quick, short read. It was cute, and had a few steamy moments! It was enjoyable for the half hour it took to read!

Quick (maybe too quick?), hot and cute read. Not gonna lie, my expectations were higher, but it was still a nice read.
